As soon as Halloween was over, shops and vendors started unpacking their Christmas hoards. And while my husband has a strict rule of no Christmas until Thanksgiving is over, I think I found my loophole: I can shop for Christmas whenever I want to get my holiday fix.
Tammy and I did some thrifting this weekend, and while I didn’t snap any pictures I’ll be sure to share the beginning of my next collection soon. Today I was at my parents’ house and hit the town’s local thrift store and found this to house said new collection.
Yes, a seven foot aluminum Christmas tree! While the box is a bit damaged, I love all the stickers that are still visible.
Every single branch is there, and what’s interesting about this tree is the all-metal stand.
My dad saw the tree and reminisced about his grandma having the same tree. He said now all I need is a color wheel. He’s right!

love, love, if you ever find another one… i’m looking!
I’ll keep my eye out. Usually they’re pretty expensive. I do have one but need to cut and re-drill a dowel rod. Hopefully a tutorial will come from it.
Wow, great find! Did you get it for a good price, I know these go for mega bucks on ebay.
The price was actually great. $75!
