Private Stash: Westclox Baby Ben

I snagged this vintage alarm clock at a tag sale the few weeks ago. It is a Westclox Baby Ben. Westclox first started making Baby Ben alarm clocks in 1910. This design was first released in 1964 and had a run that lasted until 1981. The bottom edge of the face has “made in U.S.A.” printed on it. The clock’s fun shape resembles an eye if you look at it from the front. Such a fun clock to sit on a night stand.

I found this in the kitchen of the tag sale where everything was priced $2.00. Score for me! So I guess that is why it ended up finding a home on my kitchen shelf. I’m so glad I snapped this shot of it before I had to pack it up for our move.

    Hey Angela,

I have been poking around your website–like its sleek, modern look. Awesome collection of vintage collectibles–my apartment is jealous 😉 It was great meeting you a week and a half ago outside Funky Finds. Love reading how you transform decrepit antiques into coveted treasures. Very cool…and yeah that alarm clock is classic!
