My fun find for this week was for my husband. I have no experience with buying hood ornaments but when I saw it I immediately sent him a picture. A couple hours later I was on my way back to the store to purchase it.
Now we are the owner of a 1955 Ford jet airplane hood ornament. I like the chrome and the sleek lines of this modern aviation inspired piece. It is long at 17 inches. The bottom is marked with a part #25568 and fits twelve different Ford cars. Here is an example of it on a 1955 Ford Fairline.

Since I like this as much as my husband it will probably be finding a spot under a lamp on an end table.
