I’m so lucky to have part of this week off to spend time with my boys for their spring break. Yesterday we had lunch out which just happened to be near an always packed-with-shoppers Goodwill, so of course we stopped. The parking lot was almost full so I was not expecting to find anything worth buying. As I walked down one of the last aisles I spotted these….
My mother was along and insisted that they were adorable. I’m so glad she was there to help me make the decision to buy. All eight pieces were priced separately so I’m trilled I was able to keep them all together. I snagged the four piece set for just under $8.00.
They are just so dang cute and in exellent condition. The bottom of each piece is marked “Anchor Hocking, Fire King Ware, Made in U.S.A”. After a short time researching online, I found that this pattern is named Blue Mosaic and was manufactured from 1966-1969. From what I can tell, it seems to be a pretty sought after set. Anyone want to come over for a small lunch party so I can put this snack set to good use?
This morning Angela and I are headed to a church sale so I’m hoping for a few more spring break snags. We will keep you updated with our finds.

Those are adorable! What a find, especially to get the whole set. I love them.
How cute!! The blue is so pretty, and the price is outstanding. I love snack sets. One of my sets came in the original box that’s just as great as the set, with a pop up of a 1950s housewife holding a cup and plate. That’s what I think I love most about vintage things, is there’s always those little extra touches, or surprises you get weather it be vintage clothing or kitchenware.
