It’s finally happened. After taking the picture of my grandpa’s Shasta the other day, I checked Craigslist five minutes after and wouldn’t you know, there was one four hours away!
That’s the good. Now here’s the bad. Without getting into too much detail, let’s say that the dealings with the Craigslist seller went south at the last minute. We drove four hours to pick it up, and ten minutes away they demanded almost a thousand dollars more than what we agreed upon since another interested buyer said they would pay that much. Yikes. But in the battle with a hormonal eight-and-a-half month pregnant lady, you can guess on who won.
Then, we couldn’t get the low riding beast up our steep driveway.
And when we went to take interior shots for the blog, we found it infested with wasps.
I’m starting to think this cute little gal is cursed! Although I’m so happy to have finally found one. Now off to find a temporary storage unit…

How awesome!! Haven’t had time lately to read your blog. Catching up on everyone’s finds. I love you purchased a Shasta traylor…hope you didn’t have to fork the extra $1000 out to get it. I just love the movie the Long Long Trailor with lucille ball. Hope to see the full inside soon.
Thanks Susie 🙂 I did not have to pay the $1,000 thankfully! I’ve never seen that movie, I’ll have to check it out. The full inside should be coming soon! Hope you’ve been getting some great finds.
