Last weekend we went to a Saturday morning tag sale where I walked away with a very large and very old Iowa map from 1920. I also found this fun color wheel. I plugged it in at the sale to make sure it would work and I was pleased when it lighted up and started spinning. The four plastic colored pieces easily snap together and make it very easy to take apart to store. The box is marked Snapit Colortone Electric Roto-Wheel. I’m so happy to have the original box to store it in. What else could you ask for?
I was also lucky enough to find a rare Sunday sale thanks to Austin. At this sale I snagged a few more goodies, including this craftsman style library desk for only $40.00 that I just love.
Both sides of the desk have built-in shelves and I can’t wait to start filling them with old books. I also want give props to Angela and Austin on their great photos of their furniture because I found this desk crazy tough to photograph. Hopefully I can find more pieces to practice on in the future.
Finally I found these antique hat pins at the same Sunday sale. Aren’t they cute? I’m planning on eventually filling a vase in my bedroom with them, but for now I have only three.
It was a fun weekend and now I think it’s time to clean the van, making room for the next weekend’s adventures.
