Last Friday I took the day off to attend our second annual trip up north to a long highway sale. We did lots of laughing and had lots of sales to hit. I did find a few things worth sharing and a few others that are going to be Christmas gifts, so I have to keep them secret. Yes, I’m already shopping for the holidays.
First up is this very pretty and nicely detailed vintage plastic and metal powder compact. Inside it is marked “made in U.S.A.”
A mushroom flower pot that screams 1970’s.
I found a few holiday items like these Christmas bubble lights and some large Halloween cardboard cutouts!
A few old Cameras. This one is an Ansco ready flash, made in Binghamton, N.Y.
And this 1937 Agfa B-2 Cadet box camera.
This last item I found is my favorite, but first you have to guess what it is. It was in this box and luckily the Snag team has an unofficial rule that we must open everything, otherwise I may not have found these. Now take a guess after you see this ugly box.
They are a complete set of the cutest pool balls I have ever seen! I asked their history at the sale I bought them from and was told the had come from a small town’s city hall. Now to find a pool table.

Love the pool set…very cool…and awesome find!
Did you ever find out the manufacturer of these pool balls? or possibly the age? I have a set just like this and have no information on them at all. Anything you can tell me would be so much appreciated. Thank you!
Yes I was wondering if you were ever to come up with date or manufacturers of pool balls
