Weekend Finds: Vintage Wrapping Paper

I have a large collection of vintage wrapping paper. I love finding all the different patterns and I even use them to wrap birthday gifts. Nowadays when you buy wrapping paper it’s a large roll that takes up valuable storage space. Depending on the size of the roll, you will be using the same paper to wrap birthday gifts for years. But what I love about vintage paper is it stacks into small piles that I store in an old wood filing cabinet and there’s only enough of each pattern to wrap a few gifts, then you get to switch to a new patterned sheet. I picked up a pile this weekend for $0.75 and got a wide assortment of paper.

IMG_4250I only use gift bags as a last resort. It’s so much more fun to give a wrapped gift. The best part about this collection is I use it and get to sort through and enjoy my collection every time I have a gift to give.
